Tony Melonakis was born, raised and educated in Colorado. His grandparents immigrated from Crete, Greece in the early 1900s. His father moved to Denver in 1929, where his children were all raised and still live.
Tony attended the University of Colorado, where he received a Bachelor’s of Environmental Design degree, with Honors, in 1979. After graduating from the University of Colorado, he attended law school at the University of Denver where he graduated in 1983.
Tony has been practicing law in Colorado since 1983, specializing in personal injury, wrongful death, property damage, insurance law, and civil lawsuits. In addition to representing private clients in civil lawsuits, he also defends public employees and public entities in Colorado state and Federal courts. He has worked on a number of large injury and insurance cases with Frank Coppola since the late 1980s.
When he is not working, Tony enjoys playing guitar, astronomy, reading, watching sports and collecting cars.
